Fun Weddings
So I have a few weddings booked in over the next couple of months, and have been researching my brains out, to get some inspiration for fun weddingy shots. I now have a few props to take a long with me, which i cannot wait to photograph. I practiced yesterday with myself and a fake moustache that I made :)

Yippeeee
About to bore you all now....I got a new lens...yey!!! Better than getting Manolo Blahnik's in my opinion!!!
Thought it was time to get a fixed lens, and what better than to get a Canon EF 50mm F1.4USM! It is fantastic. Sharp and the background blur is amazing! I am in love! I just want to go out a photography lots of things, but its night time and thus I will have to wait :(
Yep that silly little thing above has made me a very happy lady :)

is a happy blogger
Well one of my missions when I started my 365 Project was to get on the Popular Page!! I sat yesterday constantly refreshing the popular page, you know, "just in case".
Woke up this morning to a message on my converse trainers photo from a member saying, saw your photo on the popular page...well, i very nearly wet myself with excitement! So after shuffling the popular page a few times, up it popped, my very own photo!!! ahhhhh mucho excited i was :)
and here it is, Joseph's Converse Trainers in all their "Popular" glory!!

Quite possibly my next lens! So many to chose from, but I do think it's time to go for a fixed lens. Especially one that is great for portraits! So after reading many a review of many lenses, I think I have been swayed in the direction of this particular one. Now to find the best price, I am after all a bargain hunter like my stepmum!

I am teaching myself photography this evening, not sure exactly what I am teaching myself but just playing about with my camera in Manual mode and quite slowly getting the hang of it, I seem to have been stuck in Tv mode recently, so thought it was about time I got to grips with manual. Found a fab photo on the 365 Project by Serena (srn) which i have attempted to re-create. Not as good, but still enjoyed playing about and attempting it.
This one is definitely my fav, i might just frame it and put it in my new bedroom when it's done :-)

My first blog for 2011!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Being a true Gemini, this year i will be mainly determined and creative!
Not only am I planning on succeeding in the photography world with the help of, well myself and the internet, but I am also planning to run the London Marathon...eeekkk! Crazy Fool!
So if you see me slacking in etiher of these departments, please feel free to give me a kick up the bum, I do sometimes need it!
Ooooh nearly forgot, I am also taking part in the 365 Project, whereby you take a photo a day and post it on the 365 Project website. Everyone should do this, phototaking is fab!
